"Were you thinking about something? Your expression is hilarious!" Angela couldn't stop laughing.
Finn finally walked over, saw the photo, and couldn't help but smile wryly. "This will do. It's fine like this."
Angela's smile was especially radiant in the photo, reminding him of how she looked in his childhood memories.

"Grandma." Angela set down her things before politely asking, "What brings you here? Have you eaten?"
"Cover here and sit." Natalie's expression was unpleasant, and her commanding tone made Angela

manipulative sweet-talker.
Natalie snorted. "She's treated you that way, yet you're still speaking up for her. Do you think she'll appreciate

Angela took a deep breath.
It was clear that this old woman had cto stir up trouble, but how had she even gotten in? This was her turf,
not spublic space open to all members of the Bamford family.
Angela was determined to have a word with the maids later-under no circumstances should these two be let in
again.
Nonetheless, out of courtesy, Angela still sat down.
"Angela, about what happened before—it was all just a moment of foolishness on Trevor's part. He's toldthat
multiple times already. Didn't he also apologize to you?
"He nearly lost his life over it! Can't you let it go?" Natalie clutched Angela's hand, her voice alternating between
pleading and reprimanding, enough to lull anyone to sleep.
"Sure," Angela unexpectedly agreed. "Plus, I've already forgiven him."
"Then why are you treating him like this, not seeing him as family?" Natalie's face darkened.
"Grandma, think about it. If someone held a knife to your neck and scared you half to death, then apologized
profusely afterward, would you truly consider them family in your heart, even if you said you forgave them?"
Angela asked with a sweet smile.
Her tone was nothing but frank. She had no intention of coddling them—if someone else wanted to, they could
go right ahead.
"You... This is outright sophistry!" Natalie gritted her teeth.
"Not at all." Angela shrugged, feigning innocence. "You askedto forgive him, and I did. But expectingto
treat him like a dear family member and live
harmoniously with him? That's asking too much. I'm no saint-I

"Sorry, but my mom passed away early, and my dad didn't bother raising me. | have offended your eyes and
ears with my lack of manners, then please, both of you, feel free to leave. You're not welchere," Angela said
bluntly, issuing an outright eviction notice.
