Nash was well aware that this ability was like his trump card. Although Amulet Glory was incredibly strong, it was also a double-
edged sword. After using it the last time, Nash took two months to recover.
He knew the problem was not with Amulet Glory but rather with his own body’s inability to fully withstand its power. If he could
master this power, he might even be a god, but he knew that it would likely take a hundred or even a thousand years for him
to aplish that.
Unable to sleep, Nash quietly opened the door and went to the hall. He then made his way to Hera’s room, where he slowly pushed
open the door.
Watching the sleeping Hera and baby, Nash felt immense satisfaction. A smile unconsciously appeared on his face. He gently
kissed both mother and child.
“You've worked hard all this time. Sweet dreams.”
With that, Nash quietly left the room.
Walking along the pitch-black street, Nash found himself pondering whether he could live for a hundred or a thousand years...
What about his wife and child?

inevitably have to deal with farewells as everything they cherished would eventually leave them.
“What will you do when that day trulyes?”
Nash turned toward the direction of the voice. A figure emerged from the darkness.
“Clint? What are you doing here?” Nash asked in surprise as he looked at Clint, who had appeared out of nowhere.
Clint pointed up at the sky.
“Seems like the heavens don’t wantto have a good night's sleep. Ever since | inherited the body of an immortal, | don’t seem
to need sleep anymore. But that power is similar to what you have in you—it’'s not something you can use casually.”
Nash and Clint sat down on a nearby chair.
“You haven't answered my question yet," Clint said.
Nash looked at Clint in surprise. “You... can hear my thoughts?”
Clint nodded. “Yeah, | couldn't sleep and heard your thoughts at home, so | cover.”
“Ah... Okay then.” Nash smiled awkwardly.
Clint went on, “I'm actually quite puzzled. What do you think is the focus for people like us?”
Nash thought deeply before replying,
“I'm not sure, but thinking about it~

“You're the ruler of the god realm?” Nash recognized the person from their encounter at the Summit of Ten Thousand Dynasties.
The old priest nodded and then said, “There's currently a vacancy in the god realm. | wonder if you two would be interested?”
Both Nash and Clint felt confused when they heard that. Why were they being suddenly offered positions as gods?
They both shook their heads and simultaneously replied, “No, thank you.”

Nash was about to refuse again when Clint tugged at his sleeve.
